Business Quickie Lunch at EDGE: Four Seasons Hotel Denver

Subscribe in a reader

EDGE is downtown Denver's hot new steakhouse at Four Seasons Hotel Denver--at the corner of 14th and Arapahoe. EDGE Chef Simon Purvis’ career has taken him all over the globe, from Berlin to Singapore. In each city, he immersed himself in the local cuisine and developed his menus around tastes that were already familiar there. Therefore, Chef Simon sources his beef from a Colorado ranch, striped bass from Alamosa, fresh produce from farmers markets, and so on.

I had the sincere delight of dining at EDGE for lunch on June 29, sampling the Business Quickie Lunch. I was immediately intrigued with the name and found it to be EDGE's twist on the Bento Box. The price is $18, which includes the four small plates and a dessert. A phenomenal value for the gourmet meal you receive!

On today's menu for Business Quickie Lunch:
-Summer Halibut Ceviche
-Heirloom Tomato & Mozzarella, Torn Basil, Aged Balsamic
-Sesame Chicken Salad, Peanut Dressing, Crisp Wontons
-Petit Steak Frites, House Cut Fries, Peppercorn Sauce

And for dessert:
-Organic Chamomile Panna Cotta, Lemon Oat Crumble, Sweet Roasted Apricots
-Meyer Lemon Tart, Candied Kumquats, Passion Fruit Gelee

And that was just for lunch! Wish I would have worked out at the Four Seasons Hotel fitness center before.

The pastry chef even sent us home with adorable "Twitter" cupcakes, complete with the Twitter logo and bird.

Not only is Four Seasons Hotel Denver a shining new landmark in the Mile High, but it's a destination for delectable cuisine and top-notch service.

Thanks to Chef Simon Purvis and Team--and Dana Berry, the property's PR princess!

View this video produced for CultureHaus by o2 group, featuring the recent Art of the Chef event at Gourmet Fine Catering.

Each year, CultureHaus holds a “Banner” event, which is the organization’s signature party and fundraiser. The name of the Banner event each year is chosen by combining the phrase “Art of” with a noun. Past events have included Art of Fashion, Art of Pop, and Art of Sculpture. This year’s theme featured a live cooking competition that included a select group of Denver’s best chefs.

CultureHaus, a social and educational support group of the Denver Art Museum, connects the young at heart with art. CultureHaus provides its members with a wide range of opportunities to learn about art and collecting. At exclusive events held nearly every month, members and guests can enjoy unique insights about art, private exhibition viewings, and the chance to meet other art enthusiasts. Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper and others formed CultureHaus in 1997 to create awareness for the Denver Art Museum and the arts amongst the 25 to 40 year-old demographic.
