Subscribe in a reader

AccessU2 Mobile Solutions, LLC, a pioneer in mobile marketing for real estate, and its patent pending product, Property By Phone, today announced it will partner with EcoBroker, the premier green designation for real estate professionals.

Property By Phone customers who sign up for the gold package service plan for 12 months receive EcoBroker® and Ecosociate™ designation enrollment for free—a $395 value. After the 12-month period, the customers receive the EcoBroker Property By Phone corporate rate. EcoBroker’s current 5,000 members are eligible to receive the EcoBroker corporate rate for Property By Phone service effective immediately at www.EcoBroker.com.

The partnership is a natural fit; EcoBroker’s membership is comprised of thousands of tech-savvy real estate agents who are seeking environmentally sensitive options for their clients and for their own businesses. Property By Phone’s paperless listing presentations cost less than brochures, are easier to maintain, and captures leads. Property By Phone provides a solution that is smart for both business and the environment—a custom fit for EcoBrokers® and Ecosociates™.

“Property By Phone brings cutting edge technological advancements affordably within reach of our members from coast to coast and internationally,” commented EcoBroker CEO John Beldock, Ph.D. “Today’s real estate professional derives tremendous benefit from the Property By Phone technology and platform. Our EcoBroker® membership is really making a difference with consumers, communities, and the environment. EcoBrokers® and Ecosociates™ are redefining the quality of service the consumer has come to expect from any kind of real estate industry professional. Through our work with AccessU2, our membership is able to make even more of a difference. This economy and the environment need all the difference we can provide.”

Property By Phone instructs the prospective buyer to call a toll-free number, and the property information, video, and photos are delivered by text message. The company’s platform delivers the same type of experience to a buyer's cell phone that virtual tours have delivered to websites. The Realtor also receives an instant call capture text message and email as soon as the consumer receives the information. Using the Your Front Office service, consumers can also set an appointment directly on the listing agent’s calendar. Realtors will never miss a lead or the opportunity to set a showing directly with that consumer.

Setting up service is simple; a Realtor subscribes to Property By Phone and receives a sign rider with a toll free number and a property code. When subscribing, the Realtor creates their property description and uploads their photos and can create virtual tour videos online. Realtors can also review and share the activity report with home sellers. Realtors are also connecting with buyers and increasing their listings with the use of Property By Phone. For more information, visit www.propertybyphone.com.

“This is the ultimate green partnership, as we eliminate expensive, messy, time-consuming, and environmentally unfriendly brochure boxes forever,” said Kenneth O’Hanlon President and CEO of AccessU2 Mobile Solutions, LLC. “EcoBroker has built a foundation of environmental education and outreach helping consumers and communities take advantage of energy efficiency and environmentally sensitive design in real estate properties.”

New Anti-Cellulite Treatment Prepares Women for Warmer Weather and Beyond

Subscribe in a reader

Elemé Medical Inc., a premier aesthetics company focused on body shaping, announced today that Refresh Laser Spa, owned by Kimberly Hall, will be the first treatment center in Denver to offer the SmoothShapes® system for longer-lasting cellulite treatment. The system will be unveiled at an open house at Refresh Laser Spa (6300 East Hampden Avenue, Suite 3132, Denver) on Thursday, March 26 at 6:00 p.m.

“We are excited to bring the very latest cellulite treatment technology to Denver,” says Kimberly Hall. “What makes us stand out is that we offer each client personal, individualized treatment, and our cutting-edge lasers provide the very best results with minimal to no downtime. After evaluating the advanced technology and the superior clinical results of SmoothShapes, we found it to be the most effective treatment for cellulite.”

Designed to improve the appearance of cellulite and perfected after seven years of development, SmoothShapes is a non-invasive cellulite treatment that produces longer-lasting improvement in cellulite.

“Previous medical offerings required the client to return monthly or quarterly at best for additional treatments. With SmoothShapes clients can go six months to a year without maintenance,” notes Hall.

The SmoothShapes device uses a proprietary technology called Photomology® which immediately delivers the appearance of tighter, smoother skin.

Thermal and non-destructive, Photomology’s unique mechanism of action combines dynamic laser and light energy with mechanical massage and vacuum. This process impacts the tissue responsible for the appearance of cellulite – enlarged fat cells and inflexible collagen. SmoothShapes stimulates restoration of healthy cell activity by focusing on both the physical manifestations of cellulite and its underlying causes.

Refresh Laser Spa is at the forefront of cosmetic medicine and laser treatment, as Hall recognizes the current demand for noninvasive body treatments, especially cellulite improvement.

“Patients of every age are concerned about this problem, but until recently we’ve seen technology that wasn’t specific for treating the enlarged fat cells and inflexible collagen that contribute to cellulite,” says Hall. “SmoothShapes actually liquefies the fat in cellulite areas and moves it out of the body via the lymphatic system resulting in smoother, tighter skin with improved appearance of cellulite.”

According to Nancy M. Briefs, President and CEO of Elemé Medical, “since more than 85 percent of women develop cellulite, treating it safely and effectively is one of the holy grails of aesthetic medicine. Now, unlike other systems designed to treat cellulite, SmoothShapes significantly improves the appearance of cellulite without the pain, bruising and post-treatment discomfort.”

To RSVP for the March 26 open house event and to learn more, call 720.314.1965 or visit www.refreshlaserspa.com.

Body Shaping Market: The emerging body shaping market segment is expected to grow from approximately $4.5 billion (device sales, procedures and fees) in 2006 to approximately $8.1 billion in 2011. (Source: Michael Moretti, “Global Body Shaping Market Analysis,” March 2006)

About Cellulite: Dimpled, orange-peel-like skin that is bumpy and lax is actually the outward symptom of cellulite. Cellulite is a skin condition that results from enlarged fat cells trapped in an inflexible network of collagen located in the hypodermis. Women’s skin visibly displays cellulite because their subcutaneous fat layer is separated by thin vertical columns in contrast to a crisscross network in men. Cellulite can’t be controlled or improved by diet or exercise and more than 85 percent of women will develop it at some point in their life. Ultra slender supermodels, women devoted to a healthy lifestyle and diet, and even toned athletes are all susceptible to cellulite. Several factors contribute to the cause of cellulite, including genetics, hormones, vascular changes and inflammation.

Morningside College Choir Tour

Subscribe in a reader

Morningside College (my alma mater) Choir performed at Trinity United Methodist on Friday, March 6 in Denver as one of their last stops of their tour.

The college featured a website with blogs, photos, and videos, so that people could follow their tour across the Western United States. Visit the site: http://webs.morningside.edu/music/Choirtour09/about.html.

From the "About Us" section:
While taking the Morningside College choir on tour isn’t new, the way in which this particular tour is being put together is much different than we have tried in the past.

In just over 10 days, the choir and friends will log some four-thousand miles, host events in 4 cities, perform nine major concerts and meet 2000 Morningside College alumni, students, future students and concert-goers, all the while capturing their Morningside memories and stories as they chat with us about what it means to be a Morningsider.

Speak up!! - We Want to Hear from You!
As we said, this is more than about the choir touring, though that is very, very important. At every stop, “friends of the choir” making the trip, better known as the “road crew” will engage alumni, friends, concert-goers, prospective students in conversation. They will be “shooting” video using a digital camcorder. We want to hear from concert goers about the choral performance and from leaders of churches where the choir performs about home-stays and all the things that go into putting on a concert.

We want to hear from alumni about their Morningside experiences. Those stories might include a favorite memory or some thoughts about old friends and faculty. The “roadies” hope to collect close to 50 stories that will warm your heart, inspire us all and particularly, allow us to “connect the dots” for alumni and students.

Mom wants to know- Where Are You?
The “roadies” are going to keep you informed! Morningside College alumni and friends can follow the entire trip on the Morningside College Web site, where the young people blog daily about their experiences and share photos and video stories from alumni and friends.

I was interviewed about my experiences at Morningside:

Denver Broncos Trainer Steve Antonopulos will be honored at “My Big Greek Roast” on Saturday, March 14 at West Club Lounge of Invesco Field (1701 Mile High Stadium Circle, Denver). Starting at 6:00 p.m. with a cocktail reception and silent auction, the event will benefit Dani’s Foundation.

The event will feature a variety of Colorado sports personalities toasting and roasting Steve Antonopulos, nicknamed “The Greek,” who is in his thirty-third year as head trainer of the Denver Broncos.

“He is the best trainer in the business and each and every Bronco for the past three decades is indebted to him,” said event chairman and former Denver Bronco Jim Jensen. “We are organizing an event that will not only pay tribute to a great man, but hopefully will add some much-needed laughter to the Denver community.”

“My Big Greek Roast” will mirror infamous training camp dinners that are only privy to Broncos players and coaches.

“Recollections from Steve’s 33 years with the Broncos, as told by the players, coaches and media should make for an evening of bone-rattling fun,” said Jensen, who played for the Broncos during the 1970s.

Joining Jensen will be Fox 31 News Anchor Ron Zappolo and KOA personality Dave Logan, who will be acting as co-hosts. Current and former members of the Denver Broncos including Tyrone Braxton, Mark Cooper, Jay Cutler, Tom Davis, Rick Dennison, Buck Dilts, Ron Egloff, Steve Foley, Jack Gehrke, John Grant, Dale Hackbart, Mike Harden, Rich Karlis, Keith Kartz, Claudie Minor, Haven Moses, Dave Preston, Dave Studdard, Ralph Tamm, Billy Thompson, Billy Van Huesen and Gary Zimmerman will be lining up to congratulate Antonopulos. CBS 4 Sports Anchor Vic Lombardi will represent members of the Colorado media, and he will be joined by other notable personalities including the infamous “Barrel Man,” Miles the Mascot, and the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders.

“This is sure to be a wonderful event for all Denver Bronco fans and those pediatric cancer patients who are in need of hope,” explained Dani’s Foundation Founder and President Michele Ashby. “Join us for an evening of love and laughter in honor of this wonderful man and those children and young adults who are in need of a cure for Ewing’s Sarcoma and other pediatric cancers.”

Tickets are $200 per person. Included in the tax-deductible donation to Dani’s Foundation is admission to the cocktail party and silent auction, dinner, and the post-dinner roast.
