New Items Bring Holiday Cheer and Satisfy Sweet Tooths
Woody Creek Bakery & Cafe,
known for its made-from-scratch baked
goods, announces a new line-up of holiday and winter menu offerings.
“We are
excited to unveil six new baked items, perfect for holiday soirees and gifts,”
commented Bruce Pelligra, Director of Operations at Woody Creek Bakery &
Café. “All of these new products were actually developed by our Woody Creek
team members and first tested by our loyal customers.”
The
following scrumptious additions have been added to the company’s menu for this
winter season:
- Cranberry Walnut Muffin: Sweet cranberries with a little tart kick, thoughtfully paired with walnuts.
- Woody Creek Treat: A new signature cookie treat with dried cranberries, white chocolate chips, almonds and topped with coconut.
- Fruit Turnovers: Delicious turnover in a flaky puff pastry dough baked to golden brown perfection. Choose from cinnamon apple, cherry or blueberry.
- Smore’s Turnovers: A marshmallow and chocolate filled crescent roll baked and topped with a chocolate drizzle.
- Brownie Santa Hat: A brownie bite topped with a fresh strawberry and cream cheese frosting to make a mini Santa hat.
- Holiday cookies and Gingerbread Men: Frosted and holiday-themed decorated cookies and gingerbread men.
In the
age of frozen dough, Woody Creek is unique, in that its “sister company,” Harvest
Moon Baking Co., bakes Woody Creek’s breads daily and makes the dough for
cookies, muffins, cinnamon rolls, croissants and other baked goods. Each Woody
Creek location bakes the fresh product throughout the day. Harvest Moon tests new Woody Creek products,
which are usually the ideas of Woody Creek team members; these new products quickly
become fan favorites and staples to the company menu.
“We have become known for our famous chocolate
chip cookies, free with any entrée purchase, and now, we hope our customers
will come to crave these delicious additions to our already expansive offering
of baked goods,” finished Pelligra.
