First Annual Event to Benefit Ballet Nouveau Colorado

Ballet Nouveau Colorado (BNC), a leader in contemporary dance, announces the details for its first annual Scavenger Nouveau on Saturday, May 22.

“Participants will race through the streets, sites, restaurants, and bars of downtown Denver, hunting clues, performing tasks, and collecting proof on digital cameras,” commented Kim DeLashmit, vice chair of the BNC board of directors. “Attendees can race as a team of six or individually—either way you are racing against the clock, and against one another’s creativity.”

The hunt will begin at the Magnolia Hotel Ballroom. From there, participants will visit Denver’s coolest hot spots – such as HBurger, MIX Music Lounge, The Drink, and many more. Prizes will be awarded for Fastest Time, Best Costume, and Best Photo.
The evening’s proceeds benefit Ballet Nouveau Colorado, a pioneer in contemporary dance and Denver’s most talked-about arts organization.
