 New Items Include Barbecue Pork Tacos and Healthy Wraps

 Woody Creek Bakery & Cafe, known for its made-from-scratch baked goods, announces a new line-up of Spring menu offerings, including savory turnovers, barbecue pork tacos and healthy wraps.

“We are excited to unveil nine new items,” commented Bruce Pelligra, Director of Operations at Woody Creek Bakery & Café. “Whether you are looking for a healthy option, such as a Turkey Avocado Wrap, or a ‘craveable’ barbecue pork taco, we have something for everyone.”

The following scrumptious additions have been added to the company’s menu this Spring: 

•  Coffee Cake Muffin: A sweet, crumbly coffee cake served as an easy-to-eat muffin.

• Over-the-top Minis: Our “minis” are made from homemade croissant dough, then hand-rolled with a variety of fillings: Nutella/fruit preserves, almond, banana walnut or cinnamon and sugar.

•  Chorizo Quiche Turnover: A turnover made with spicy chorizo and rich quiche filling baked inside a flaky pastry.

• Jalapeno Popper Turnover: This jalapeno popper is served as a savory turnover stuffed with crisp bacon, jalapeno, and cream cheese.  

• Hummus Wrap: A vegetarian wrap packed with nutrients and Mediterranean flavors. Hummus, spinach, tomato, cucumber, red bell pepper, onions, and feta cheese wrapped in a wheat tortilla.

• Turkey Balsamic Avocado Wrap: A healthy new spin on a California classic. Turkey, fresh avocado, spinach, tomato, cucumber, and balsamic dressing wrapped in a wheat tortilla.

• Chicken Fajita Wrap: Roasted chicken strips, onions, bell peppers, pepper jack cheese, jalapenos, and a ranch salsa wrapped in a jalapeno cheddar tortilla and grilled on a Panini press.

• Barbecue Pork Tacos: Woody Creek’s take on a Denver street food favorite. Tender pulled pork in a mango barbecue sauce and topped with creamy slaw.

•  Sliders: Soon-to-be famous house- made sandwiches on a freshly baked brioche slider bun.*

Each season, Woody Creek asks its team members for new menu item ideas, which they test in the company’s neighborhood stores to determine fan favorites. The top-selling products become new menu items and staples to the company menu.

“We are known for our famous chocolate chip cookies, free with any entrée purchase, and now, our customers will come to crave these delectable additions to our already expansive offering of entrees and baked goods,” finished Pelligra.
